Riding Home My Point

I have received some helpful comments and support from some dear friends and bloggers who read my draft (Thanks so much for time and comments!). So, finally I have gathered enough confidence and courage to actually publish my first entry.

Through this cyber channel, I hope to initiate some changes, if possible, in our community to be more loving and brave enough to show that we care about each other. I suggest we forget about the different dialects we speak, different spices we put in our kualis or pots and different colours we are wearing when it comes to giving help to each other.

What do you say?

I have seen many incidents on the bus, mainly involving the younger people; where the school children and teenagers have forgotten about manners, love and care. Incidents, acts and their ‘language’ scared me each time. Could these incidents actually represent the real value of our society, especially the younger people?

Hence, I am going to pitch my campaign to initiate and if possible to educate my dear adik-adik who are taking the public transport for various purpose ; to school, attending tuition or even for leisure destinations (yeah!, KLCC, Pavilion, etc) to be more courteous. To not be afraid of showing that they do not mind standing all the way to KLCC as long as the seats are surrendered to more deserving passengers. To show that it is cool to help old uncles or aunties even when you don’t speak their language. To prove to themselves that their actions worth more than the RM2 use-all-day-fare, and yes, to show that we,

Malaysians do care.

So, when can we start?
